- I am accompanying the Macon State Chamber Chorus on Friday April 25th in
their Spring concert, along with a Chamber orchestra. I'll be
playing on the Missa Festiva by John Leavitt and a killer spiritual
called I Know the Lord Will Make a Way.(4/24/08)
- I just spent a week recording the accompaniment track for Central High
School's production of Edges - a 2007 musical by Benj Pasek and
Justin Paul. Pretty cool stuff, and quite a challenge to get
68 minutes of music recorded in a week. You

- Performance with Rebecca Lanning. mezzo-soprano of Macon State on March
17th at Macon
State, and again at Little
Carnegie of the South in Macon on March 28th as a part of the Cherry
Blossom Festival. Pieces include
just about every era and style, from Romantic opera to 20th century
songs (including one by Aaron Copeland) to Tin Pan Alley. We're
doing some real interesting stuff which is full of surprises.
One of the more interesting songs, Song of the Chattahoochee,
is by local composer Jacqueline Hannah McNair. The first set is
labeled

- I have been booked to record several piano tracks
for Shadowsound Studio for a client of Joey's, John Hagger. (1/26/08

- After some experimenting with blogging, it's time to get serious about
it. Check out feeds.feedburner.com/ThePianoTeacher for
the blog about piano, teaching, and stuff. You can subscribe

- I've updated to tom&co site

- Performances with the Bob Huellemeir Big Band: Friday Dec 14 at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church for the traditional Christmas Big Band Dance,
and Saturday Dec. 22 at the City Auditorium for the Bon Hommes

- Recently received notice from ASCAP that a few tracks from Brethren were
played on satellite radio last Christmas. Pretty cool! (9/1/07)

- I performed an original arrangement of I Surrender

- I just added several mp3s to the portfolio page,
including 2 tracks from some recording done in 1985 with some
great Christmas arrangements. (If you listen you can tell they
serves as inspiration for some of the tracks on tom&co's Seasons).
I also added a few songs from VBX 2005, 2006, and 2007 that I

- Performances with the Joey Stuckey Band: Wed 6/20/07 at the Douglass Theatre,
at 7:30 - part of MidSummer
Macon series. We will also be performing Monday 6/25/07 for an event
sponsored by Retired General Rick Goddard's political campaign.
- I co-wrote and produced the theme song for Vineville
North's VBX. Well
over 100 kids received copies, and learned the song with choreography
as aprt of the activities.
- Coming soon: GovAccessMusic.com - royalty-free tracks specifically designed
for use by Government access channels. Check out the website and blog for more details.
- I accompanied two students in a competition at Macon State - one on a Mozart
Violin concerto, the other a Haydn Piano concerto. (3/23/07)
- Just created some keyboard tracks and did some soundesign
work for The Blessed
Blend's new album titled "Journeys through the Mist". Both
sessions were down at Joey Stuckey's ShadowSound

- tom&co performed a piece from Seasons last Sunday at Vineville
North Baptist.
- 2006
- Several performances coming soon: Friday Dec. 1, 2006 at First Presbyterian
Church for the Macon State Chorale - accompanying the choir on
piano (and even some timpani on the Faure Requiem). I'll also
be with the Bob Huellemier Big Band on Frrday Dec. 8 at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church for a Big Band dance, and again with Bob at the
Bon Hommes event on Friday Dec. 15 at the City Auditorium. (11/29/06)
- I recently played keyboards and strings for 3 tracks on Camille Scoggin's
new album, due out next Spring. It is being produced by Mark
Hooten, and recorded at Shadowsound Studios.(11/29/06)
- I mixed and produced 2 tracks by my son. One was used to produce a music
video for use at D'Now 06 (see the original
here, or the youtube
version here.) We also created a track for a Breakaway magazine promotion
- the winner gets to spend a day with KJ-52 in the studio, which

Nice to know I had a small part in it (even if it was

- I was part of the Sister2Sister
band on Monday, October 16 at
the Macon Auditorium. It was a great event!
- I performed with The Grapevine in Stone Mountain on Saturday September

- Sunday Brunch, cowritten with Joey
Stuckey and recorded at Shadowsound
Studios, has been forwarded by Taxi to a major music distributor
in Los Angeles. (8/26/06) It was also forwarded

- I just signed on with SignWave records. We plan on creating
a library of instrumental tracks in a plethora of styles. (8/24/06)

- I performed with the Joey Stuckey Band for a meeting of Clean
Air Georgia at the Terminal Station in downtown Macon on Monday

- I am primary keyboardist for several events
sponsored by "Moving Forward with Gary and Kristie Lamb" at the
Macon Coliseum Monument Room. The first was held on July 20-21
- other dates are August 18-19, September 8, October 13. Come

- Performed with the Joey Stuckey Band Tues. June 20 at the Capitol Theatre
for MidSummer Macon.
- I edited the audio for the video skits shown each day at Vineville North's
Vacation Bible eXtreme.
I also co-wrote, performed, engineered, and produced the theme
song.
- "Gris & That",
Ed Grisamore's new Audiobook, has a couple of tracks with some
"organ" music I recorded. Both stories deal with funerals - perhaps
I should start calling myself the MaconMusicMortuary........
- June is, of course, wedding month and I have performed at a couple of
them already. One was on a nice grand piano in the sanctuary
of Ingleside Methodist on Ridge Ave.
