The MacMusicGuy has been musical in Macon since 1990. He has performed in a variety of situations, done sound design, studio playing, arranging, and recording, and accompanied for a variety of choral ensembles and musical theatre productions. He also teaches private piano. keyboards. and music theory.

He has experience playing the piano and keyboards in all sorts of styles, and currently teaches at Young America Music School as well as Macon State College.

Joey Stuckey recently called Tom "one of the best 2 musicians in the state of Georgia!".

He also edits the CDs for the services from Vineville North Baptist - compressing 2 services worth of material onto one CD. For over a year he also edits the church's podcast. He also co-wrote and produced the theme song from the 2005, 2006 and 2007 editions of VNBC's "Vacation Bible eXtreme".
